Dr Rebecca Fear (Osteopath)
M.Osteo, B.App.Sc(Comp.Med)

See Rebecca for: Headaches, Jaw Pain, Babies & Children, Pregnancy-Related Pain, Lower Back Pain, Shoulder Conditions

Rebecca has always gone out of her way to help people, and was her family’s resident masseur growing up, so osteopathy was a natural fit. Rebecca has a predominantly structural and direct treatment approach which includes massage and manipulation, and incorporates gentle approaches depending on her patient’s needs. With a passion for ongoing learning, Rebecca is creative and curious, a personality trait that shows in her patient-centred care approach.

Rebecca strives to improve the wellbeing of each patient with a personalised treatment plan for long-term management, using a hands-on approach supported by tailored advice for stretching and rehabilitation, ergonomics and stress management. In her downtime, Rebecca enjoys snuggling up with her cat Rogue to read mysteries and thrillers. She also enjoys baking, but not as much as her Bodywell colleagues enjoy Rebecca’s hobby – the hype has still not died down after she shared her home-made Caramello Koala cheesecake with the team last year.

Dr Sarah Collins (Osteopath)
B.App.Sc(Osteo), B.H.Sc, B.Biomed.Sc

See Sarah for: Sports Injuries, Posture-Related Strains and Issues, Sedentary Desk Work Issues, Musculoskeletal Conditions, Back Pain, Headaches.

Growing up playing team sports, Sarah’s passion for osteopathy stemmed from personal experiences with long-running sports injuries, and an internship at Mumbai’s Sport Medicine Clinic working with pre- and post- operative orthopaedic patients. Sarah is a bubbly and compassionate practitioner who uses a multi-disciplinary osteopathic approach tailored to the individual. She uses needling and cupping alongside manual therapy techniques, and believes great patient outcomes, just like great sporting achievements, are the result of a team effort.

The self-confessed ‘brunch queen’ thrives on building relationships, and genuinely enjoys treating sporting injuries for various age groups and fitness levels, which isn’t surprising given her pedigree – Sarah’s mum is a netball-obsessed umpire who inspires her on and off the court. Sarah is an animal lover and volunteers with Guide Dogs Australia in her spare time.

Dr Madelaine Traeger (Osteopath)
B.H.Sc, B.App.Sc(Osteo)

See Madelaine for: Musculoskeletal Issues, Children, Infants, Pregnancy, Breastfeeding.

Madelaine is a caring osteopath who is passionate about helping people become pain free. Her treatment style is a combination of gentle and strong techniques tailored to patient needs, and she’s particularly interested in treating children and babies. Madelaine’s previous role was working closely with other health professionals including dentists, lactation consultants and speech pathologists at a paediatric clinic. She is currently studying to become an international board-certified lactation consultant.

Becoming a mother gave Madelaine new insight into the benefits of osteopathy throughout pregnancy and to address infant feeding issues and other new-parent concerns. When Madelaine is not running after her gorgeous daughter, she loves bushwalking and being outdoors in nature.

Dr Aleasha Ball (Osteopath)
B.H.Sc, B.App.Sc(Osteo)

See Aleasha for: General Health, Sports Injuries, Neck and Back Pain, Seniors, Desk Workers, Tradies.

After ten years as a massage therapist, Aleasha’s patients saw her potential and suggested she get into osteopathy. She is passionate about treating people of all ages with different jobs and challenges, and her down-to-earth manner means she genuinely enjoys spending time with each of her patients. Aleasha has a structural treatment style, which she tailors to individual needs. With her sporting background, she has a good understanding of the wear and tear placed on your body from both sport and day-to-day activity.

Growing up playing AFL (alongside every other competitive sport you can think of), it’s no surprise that Aleasha is the reserves coach for the Diamond Creek female seniors  team. She also spent several years massaging the North Melbourne Kangaroos, but cheers for Collingwood Magpies (AWFL) these days as her best mate plays with them. Aleasha is her nieces’ and nephews’ favourite aunt, and manages her own menagerie with two dogs and a rescue bird. Aleasha loves nothing more than seeing patients improve so they can get back to doing the things they enjoy.
